This sector, the flagship of Sanam Holding Group, is part of the Sanam Agro Group, which is executing a dual strategy of vertical integration and specialization in a range of agri-food lines.
The agri-food industry sector includes approximately forty subsidiaries whose range of businesses, together with the intragroup complementarity and synergies that have developed among them, perfectly illustrate the strategies of vertical integration and specialization.
The organization of this sector is based on two major structures: on the one hand, the Unimer Group affiliate, which is responsible for the production and commercialization of seafood products. And on the other hand, the plant foods and local market sector, which is structured around 6 lines of business: sauces and condiments, marinated vegetables, drinks, frozen fruits, fresh products and logistics.
Through its Sanam Loisirs holdings, Sanam Holding Group is a major operator in the movie industry. Based in the town of Ouarzazate, it operates the two largest movie studios in the world. It is also very active in the hotel industry, particularly in the hotel complex niche, through several units in various cities of the Kingdom – Casablanca, Rabat and Ouarzazate – with a capacity of more than 200 rooms. The 25 points of sale of these hotel complexes are benchmarks on the national market in their respective positions.
Sanam Holding Group is present in the distribution sector through the company Stokvis North Africa, which specializes in importing and distributing technical equipment.
The strategy of this company, which is listed on the Casablanca Stock Market, is based on a partnership with the major international brands, a high value-added technical service, and the division of its business lines among subsidiaries.
